Our Visit to the Aquarium

These are some comments from the children about our visit to the Aquarium:

Ashleigh said "I learnt that if you go to the fish and chip shop and if you get fish out, you are eating shark."

"That the boy sea horses have a big stomach to make the girls like them so then the girl sea horses can let him look after babies." said Trinity.

Logan said "I saw sharks and fish always have breathing holes on their sides."

Gemma said "I learned that if a shark's tooth falls out another one can flip up."

Isobel said "I learned that sharks have eggs."

Jazmin said "I learned that octopus have 3 hearts and 9 brains."

Holly said "Octopus can lay thousands of eggs."

Connor said "I learned that when you release a goldfish into the wild it becomes a pest fish."

Misha said "That octopus can get out of a tiny hole because they don't have bones."













Dominic said "I learnt how to tell the difference between boy fish and girl fish and stingrays and sharks because the boys have a type of sticking out bit on their fins that looks like legs."

Ava said "I learnt that octopus can change colour and they can't see red."

Marit said "I learned that octopus blood is blue."

Phoebe said "Octopus don't have bones."

Shayan said "I learnt that sea horses and sharks are endangered."

Madeleine said "I learnt that there is a special type of eel that lives in our seas."

Sky said "I learnt that octopus have one of their brains in their head and the others in their arms."

Jack said "I learnt that carpet sharks stay on the bottom of the ocean."

Jamie said "I learnt that some sharks can't shut their jaw ."

Stavros said "The killer whales can eat people."

Tiaki said "You're not supposed to get eels when they're about to have their babies."

Aaliyah said "I learnt that stingrays can sting you and you can die."
